Chief Inspector of Probation agrees a second job

£142,000 p.a. Dame Glenys Stacey has accepted Michael Gove's offer to her and is spending two days a week from 1st March until 31st December on the farm inspection review. She is former chief executive of the animal health agency. The probation inspectorate has recently recruited two new directors and another executive, increasing "senior staff capacity", enabling more delegation of work, and "it is anticipated that the organisation will continue to inspect and report exactly as planned". So that's alright then!

Just to add a little perspective: my Carer's Allowance has just risen from £62.70 a week to £64.60 a week. I'm trying to save up to buy some 2nd class stamps. The allowance will cease once I reach state pension age.

I'm just checking if I as a guest - and former Napo member - can post on this Forum.
