Prospective General Secretary's

Postby Unionboy » Wed May 15, 2013 9:30 pm

So we're fast approaching the election for General Secretary. Clearly we face the toughest times ever. So I did some research. Have a look at this....(10th and 12th May posts).

So I hear that at the NEC interview the candidate which isn't Ian said he was leaving PCS. Don't think he gave this version of events. Now I don't know what axe "Howie" is grinding, but I'm certainly not taking the risk.

I wonder about the motives behind this posting about Hugh Lanning. Obviously intended to discredit, it makes me wonder also whether its appearance was coordinated with Howie's Corner, which is clearly antagonistic to those on the Left. Is Unionboy a contivance, politics by slur? I notice there have been a total of 5 entries from Unionboy - all made in 15 minute period on 15 May. Howie's Corner also has a dig at Napo former general secretary, Judy Mcknight, whose apparent crime is to be one of Hugh Lannings supporters.

Howies corner has been described as an 'unashamedly electoral vehicle for a right wing grouplet in PCS' (Nick Wright). It is reportedly completely anti-strike and anti-marxist. (As such it will probably appeal to some right wing grouplets in NAPO.) However, I do think this post by unionboy is dubious, at best.
